Octane launches enterprise agentic AI across six business functions
84 AI agents. Six departments. One control plane.
SYDNEY, 21 October 2026. Octane today launched its enterprise agentic AI solution. It is a team of 84 AI agents that work across Finance, Procurement, HR, Banking, IT and Legal. Every agent runs on IBM watsonx Orchestrate. It acts as one control plane, so leaders can run, watch and govern every agent from a single place.
“Most companies are past asking whether AI works. Now they want to know how to run it safely across the whole business,” said Amendra Pratap, Founder and Managing Director of Octane.
“We built this so leaders can see every agent, every decision and every hand-off in one place.”
Specialist AI across six business functions
Finance has the biggest team, with 31 agents for work such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. IT has 17 agents, Banking has 13, Legal has 12, HR has seven and Procurement has four. Each agent is a specialist, and work passes to a person whenever a decision needs a human.
Built to work across the enterprise
The agents connect to the systems companies already use. These include SAP, Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, Coupa, core banking platforms and Microsoft 365. Customers choose their own LLM and their own cloud. They can also bring agents they have already built and run them under the same control plane.
The team behind the solution
The solution was built by an Octane Engineering team led by Amendra Pratap, with Steny Sebastian, and Alan Francis Cheeramvelil.
